Consultation
The first step of the building process is getting to know you and your dreams, as well as determining your timeframe. This will give us a chance to know each other and help you understand our process.
Idaho Impact Homes makes it a priority to provide comfort and quality with your new home. To get the process started, we will work together to gather necessary information and documentation.
If you are building a home on your own lot, this process will include:
- Site inspection
- Establishing a plan for utilities
- Waste removal
- Approach and excavation
- Obtaining permits
Creation
After the initial consultation, it’s time to determine the design of your new home. Idaho Impact Homes has their own collection of floor plans and we also draw CUSTOM floor plans. You can bring us any plan you have found online and we can make them into construction drawings as well as customize the original plan. After that you will collaborate with our Design Team to find the ideal style for your home.
Idaho Impact Homes coordinates custom-home design around the property, the homeowner’s priorities, and the project’s planning needs. The specific plans, specifications, selections, and applicable project documents determine what is included for a particular home.
Construction
With consultation and creation finished, your new home will now begin to take shape.

Construction sequencing, inspections, materials, finishes, and included work depend on the project’s plans, specifications, site conditions, permits, selections, and signed contract. Actual timing depends on design complexity, engineering, permitting, weather, labor, materials, site conditions, changes, and other project-specific factors. The applicable project documents and signed contract control.
Completion
Idaho Impact Homes’ present working warranty is a One Year Limited Warranty. The applicable contract determines whether and how the warranty applies to a specific home. Contract language controls over any marketing summary.
